Stands of local producers were placed, where consumers from Iași could purchase, directly from the producers, seasonal fruits but also products made according to traditional recipes: syrups , jams etc.
The event was organized by Iași City Hall in collaboration with the Iași County Agriculture Department and the Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch (Cities2030 Project) with the support of the Rural Development Research Platform Association and Siret Moldova LAG, under the Ruralities Project.
The cherries of the producers from Siret-Moldova LAG were the main “attraction” and were highly appreciated by the consumers.
Through the Cities2030 and Ruralities projects, researchers from the Romanian Academy – Iași branch and from the Rural Development Research Platform Association facilitate the access of small producers to the food system within the city of Iași.
